Kscope 2013 Day 1 in pictures – ADF Symposium and Find the Forms Developers Hunt begins!

Well the first day of Kscope was a blast with both great content and even more fun.

We spent the day in the ADF symposium where count them – 6 Oracle product manager where on hand to tell us about the next generation of development and Oracle’s vision moving forward. We got all the inside information about ADF Mobile, Oracle developer cloud as well as Jdeveloper 12c new features. It was incredible to have Oracle PM’s open the floor to us developers in the Q&A session and ask what pains we were having in developing using Jdeveloper, and what enhancement requests and new features we’d like to see in future versions. We saw  a real willingness to let us be a part of shaping the next version of Jdeveloper and specifically ADF Mobile. Even Bill Pataky Oracle’s VP of Product Management was on hand to tell us about future directions and trends and to show  us Oracle’s dedication to the Oracle development community and commitment to both Oracle Forms and ADF going forward.

The day slowly moved from content to fun when the doors opened to the Kscope opening bash. With the exhibit  hall in the true style of a New Orleans street festival we easily joined the party. The OraPlayer team was on hand to ensure nobody went away thirsty. Where we  had several “L’chaims” (toasts) with our customers and partners. Shots of Watermelon vodka, Cajun spice New Orleans run and Absolute Vodka New Orleans (Mango and peper flavored) were on hand for  anyone who dared join u. Enjoy our day 1 in pictures scrapbook below.
