Bug of the week: Deployment Stuck at "Copying security related files to the ADF Mobile Framework application…" Stage
We recently received this question in our inbox and I thought it would be pretty valuable post as our bug of the week!
I wanted to deploy a simple application to iOS Simulator and the deployment got stuck on the line: “Copying security related files to the ADF Mobile Framework application.” I tried to perform “Clean all” but it was taking forever! Help! What do I do?
Have no fear! There is a very simple and easy solution to this issue. If you ever end up in a situation where deployment is taking an extended amount of time, all you have to do is …
1) In the Windows explorer or file explorer
2) Go to your project’s directory (In the below example: OPStore)
3) Go to deploy directory
4) Delete the relevant deployment folder (In the example below, the directory is called “IOS2”)
Once you have deleted the directory, attempt to deploy the application again. You’ll be amazed at how fast it now deploys!! 🙂
