Strategies for Moving Legacy Systems to Mobile Devices: ODTUG Webinar

On Thursday, February 27th, I will be hosting part two of the “Mobile for Forms” ODTUG Webinar Series! Last week we did the Forms to APEX Mobile session and it was a great success. If you missed it, check out yesterday’s post. Definitely worth checking out.

For this next webinar, we’ll be exploring strategies for mobilizing legacy applications with ADF Mobile. We will be discussing the challenges of going mobile with legacy applications and give you strategies how to plan for mobilizing your applications.

Below is a prime example of mobilizing a legacy application. Here we we see the legacy application and the new application  that you can create as it appears on an iPad, with interesting and graphical features.

We will be discussing topics such as how to think mobile, designing for mobility and running Oracle Forms from ADF Mobile on mobile devices and tablets without redevelopment. Joining me will be Oracle Product Management Director, Denis Tyrell. We will do cool demos so you can see how easy it is to build iOS and Android applications from one code base while leveraging existing Forms systems and extending them to include device services, such as phone, SMS, camera, GPS!

Join us on Thursday, February 27, 2014: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EST  the webinar is FREE but you must to register here.

We are looking to get more than the 184 participates from APEX webinar last week! 🙂 Interested in seeing which webinar gets more participation.

So register NOW!
